1. Service description

Cambrian Lab provides automated prompt optimization services. You submit a prompt and labeled training data; we return an evolved version of that prompt with measured accuracy improvements.

2. Your content

You retain full ownership of your prompts, training data, and evolved outputs. Cambrian Lab claims no rights to any content you create or submit through the service. You may use evolved prompts in any context, commercial or otherwise, without restriction.

3. API keys

You are responsible for your own LLM API keys. Cambrian Lab does not store your keys on our servers. You are responsible for any costs incurred on your LLM provider account during evolution runs.

4. Accuracy claims

All accuracy numbers (baseline, evolved, lift percentages) are measured on the data you provide. We report results honestly with confidence intervals. Results on production data may vary from results on training data. We do not guarantee specific accuracy outcomes.

5. Payment and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Cambrian Lab to optimize prompts intended for illegal purposes, generating harmful content, or circumventing safety measures in LLM systems.

7. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Evolution jobs that fail due to service issues will not count against your plan limits.

8. Limitation of liability

Cambrian Lab is provided “as is.” We are not liable for losses arising from reliance on evolved prompts, API costs incurred during evolution, or service interruptions. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect.
